Wat Bang Pli Yai Nai is
located on the bank of Klong Samrong in Bang Pli District. The
bot contains the highly revered Luang Poh To, a huge bronze Sukhothai
period Buddha image in the attitude of subduing Mara. On the
fourteenth day of the waxing moon, of the eleventh lunar month,
a replica of the Buddha image is placed on a boat for the Lotus
Flower Receiving Festival (see Festivals). The temple is commonly known as Wat Luang Poh
To.
