The restaurant at the end of the pier, Salasukta, is a really great place to go in the early evening to catch the cool breeze from the Gulf of Thailand. No need for air-conditioning here.
Before or after you have eaten your meal, you can go to far end of the pier where you can feed the seagulls. Packets of birdfood are available for only 10 baht.
This is also an ideal place to watch the beautiful sunsets.
