Getting Around
Samlor: a three wheeled bicycle ideal for short trips around town. (from 10 baht)
Tuk Tuk: a motorized samlor for longer trips around town. (from 20 baht)
Songtaew: Literally two rows in the back of a pick-up truck. For longer trips on set routes. (7 baht)
Taxi Meter: air-conditioned comfort for longer trips (starting at 35 baht)
Motorcycle Taxis: these bikes will take you down the lanes leading off main roads. (from 10 baht) Cross-river
Ferry: The only way to cross the river from the market to Phra Samut Chedi. (2 baht)
Air-conditioned buses: runs on set routes in and out of Samut Prakan. (from 8 baht)
Normal buses: Same route as the blue bus but cheaper as there is no a/c. (from 3 baht)
Micro Bus: Set routes into Bangkok on a small air- conditioned bus with tv. (25 baht)
