Songkran celebrations in Phra Pradaeng are always held later than the rest of the country. This is because most of the people in this area are Mon. They celebrate Songkran on the first weekend after the 13th April. During the three days from Friday to Sunday there will be cultural acitivites along the waterfront. At the Municipal Hall there will be a Beauty Contest on Friday evening. The parade will start here on Sunday and finish at Wat Prodket Chettharam where they will release fish and birds. Songkran Parade Route - The parade starts at the municipal buildings along the waterfront. It goes along Nakhon Khuean Khan Road. Turns right onto Phraratchawiriyaphon Road. Finally turn right onto Rat Burana Road.

Phra Pradaeng Waterfront - A nice location to enjoy the river breeze. There will be many food stalls along here. Also a demonstration of the Saba game.
