Free Entry to Ancient Siam this week

One of the places that I always recommend to visit in Samut Prakan is Ancient Siam (formerly known as Ancient City). It’s an open air museum and the place where you can see all the main buildings and architecture of Thailand in one place. The park covers an area of about 100 acres and is almost in the shape of the map of Thailand. You enter from the south and you will see that all of the places are roughly in their correct geographic location. It is possible to drive around the park, but the best way is to rent a bicycle and take your time. It is easy to spend all day here. Though, if you are in a rush, you would need a minimum of two hours to see the highlights. There are places to eat and get refreshments. There is also a floating market.

If you have never been before or haven’t been for a long time then take advantage of the special offer this week. From 4th to 10th June 2012 there will be FREE admission for Ancient Siam.
