ประเพณีตักบาตรน้ำผึ้ง: วันที่ 18 มิถุนายน พ.ศ.2554 ที่วัดคันลัด ต.ทรงคนอง อ.พระประแดง สมุทรปราการ นายเชิดศักดิ์ ชูศรี ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ เป็นประธานเปิดงานประเพณีตักบาตรน้ำผึ้ง และมหกรรมวัฒนธรรมอำเภอพระประแดง ซึ่งเป็นประเพณีเก่าแก่ของชาวมอญ ที่แสดงความศรัทธาในพระพุทธศาสนา โดยจะนำอาหารต่างๆ และน้ำผึ้งบริสุทธิ์ มาถวายแด่พระสงฆ์ โดยปกติจะทำกันในวันขึ้น 15 ค่ำ เดือน 10 งานนี้จัดโดยวัฒนธรรมจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ร่วมกับสภาวัฒนธรรมอำเภอพระประแดง และสภาวัฒนธรรมตำบลทุกตำบล ใน อ.พระประแดง ในงานมีกิจกรรมประกวดการทำอาหารจากน้ำผึ้ง การแสดงศิลปพื้นบ้าน และการสาธิตผลิตภัณฑ์ภูมิปัญญาของแต่ละตำบลด้วย

Honey Offering Ceremony: On Saturday 18th June 2011, Mr. Cherdsak Choosri, the Governor of Samut Prakan Province, presided over the Honey Offering Ceremony at Wat Khan Lad in Phra Pradaeng. This is an old Mon tradition that usually takes places on 15th day of the 10th lunar month. However, it was moved to this month this year to make it more convenient. In addition, a Mon Culture Festival was organized at the same time. On Tak Bat Nam Pheung Day local Mon people go to their local temples dressed in traditional costume. They offer honey to the monks as they believe that this will give them great merit.
