Mr. Cherdsak Choosri, the new Governor of Samut Prakan, started work at the Provincial Hall on Monday 5th October 2010. He spent most of the first few days visiting the abbots of the major temples and also paying homage to important Buddha images. On the morning of Tuesday 5th October, the Governor and his wife went to visit the abbot of Wat Pichai in Paknam. The same day he also visited Wat Bang Phli Yai Nai and Phra Samut Chedi. Mr. Cherdsak Choosri was previously the governor of Phayao Province in the North of Thailand.
