เช้านี้ ณ โรงเจท่งเสียง ปากน้ำ มีพิธีเปิดโรงเจหลังจากมีการบูรณะปฏิสังขรณ์ โดยสมเด็จพระพุฒาจารย์ (เกี่ยว อุปเสโณ) ประธานคณะผู้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่สมเด็จพระสังฆราช เสด็จเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดป้ายโรงเจท่งเสียง ในงานนี้นายสุรชัย ขันอาสา ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดสมุทรปราการได้เดินทางมาร่วมในพิธีร่วมกับคนไทยเชื้อสายจีนชาวปากน้ำทุกหมู่เหล่าด้วย

โรงเจท่งเสียงปากน้ำนั้นมีประวัติยาวนานกว่า 80 ปี เปลี่ยนจากเรือนไม้มาเป็นอาคารคอนกรีตในปีพ.ศ.2518 หรือประมาณเกือบ 35 ปีมาแล้ว ทางคณะกรรมการสมัยที่ 22 และศิษยานุศิษย์จึงได้ร่วมมือร่วมใจกันบูรณะปฏิสังขรณ์โรงเจขึ้นใหม่

This morning, a dedication ceremony was held at Thong Siang Vegetarian House in Paknam. The buildings had recently been renovated and enlarged. The Chinese temple dates back more than 80 years but back then it was a wooden building. In 1975 a concrete building was built. Somdet Phra Phuttacharn (Somdet Kiaw), the Acting Supreme Patriarch of Thailand was invited for the dedication ceremony. He is of Thai-Chinese descent and is effectively the leader of all Thai Buddhist monks. He is also the abbot of Wat Saket. Also present was Mr. Surachai Khanasa, the Governor of Samut Prakan.
