โครงการ “ไทยสามัคคี ไทยเข้มแข็ง” ร่วมกันร้องเพลงชาติไทยในเวลา 18.00 น. เริ่มปฏิบัติมาตั้งแต่วันที่ 20 ก.ย. 52 และจะสิ้นสุดในวันที่ 4 ธ.ค. 52 โดยจะเรียงลำดับจังหวัดตามตัวอักษร เริ่มจากจังหวัดกระบี่ - กรุงเทพมหานคร โดยในวันที่ 5 ธ.ค.ซึ่งเป็นวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว จะมีการเชิญประชาชนมาที่ท้องสนามหลวง เพื่อร่วมกิจกรรมร้องเพลงชาติไทยในเวลา 18.00 น. พร้อมกันทั่วทั้งประเทศ

สำหรับจังหวัดสมุทรปราการนั้นจะมีกิจกรรมร่วมกันร้องเพลงชาติไทยใน วันศุกร์ที่ 20 พฤศจิกายน 2552

The government are encouraging the Thai people in all provinces to come out to sing the National Anthem at 6 pm every day until 5th December to promote unity and patriotism. The events are being broadcast live from each province. The turn of Samut Prakan is on Friday 20th November 2009.

The project kicked off in Krabi and will then go, in Thai alphabetical order, from 18 September 2009 to 4 December 2009, to end in Bangkok, the starting place. On the occasion of His Majesty the King’s Birthday, on 5 December 2009, all will join together for a singing of the national anthem and also to wish happiness and longevity to His Majesty the King at Sanam Luang ceremonial grounds in Bangkok and throughout Thailand.

In the aspect of Tourism, "United Thais - Strong Thailand" project is deemed to be beneficial in an indirect ways in promoting tourist attractions as the governor of each province will have 2 minutes to deliver a short speech on the history and significant venues of the province, reminding everyone of the proud history of the city and of Thailand as a whole.

The national anthem has been played at 8.00 hrs and 18.00 hrs everyday, for the flag-raising and lowering ceremonies. All Thais are required to stand up in respect to the anthem up to this day.
