(1) COMING FROM BANGKOK ALONG SUKHUMVIT ROAD

The main entrance to the Ancient Siam is off Sukhumwit Road. If you are driving from Bangkok on Sukhumwit Road, it will take you about fifteen minutes (depending on traffic) from The Erawan Museum. As you approach Samut Prakan City, look out for the Chon Buri signs. You need to follow these as it will take you around the city.

ทางเข้าหลักของเมืองโบราณนั้นอยู่บนถนนสุขุมวิท(สายเก่า) จากกรุงเทพขับรถมาตามถนนสุขุมวิทขาเข้าจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ เมื่อเข้าถึงตัวเมืองสมุทรปราการให้สังเกตป้าย ชลบุรี ชิดซ้าย ให้ตามเส้นทางไป

Here you are approaching the traffic lights. You need to turn left at the intersection and head towards Chon Buri.

จะถึงสามแยก เลี้ยวซ้ายไปทางชลบุรี

As you approach the traffic lights, you will spot this clocktower on your right handside. You will find the City Hall here.

บริเวณสามแยกนั้นทางด้านขวามือจะสังเกตเห็น หอนาฬิกาหน้าศาลากลางจังหวัด จากจุดนี้สถานตากอากาศบางปูจะอยู่ห่างประมาณ 12.27 กิโลเมตร

This is the traffic lights where you turn left. If you want to enter the city you should go straight ahead. If you stay in the lefthand lane you do not need to wait for the green light when you turn left. Exactly 1.19 kms later you will reach an intersection. Srinakarin Road is on your left. You need to go straight across this intersection.

บริเวณ สามแยก ถ้าตรงขึ้นไปจะเข้าตัวเมืองปากน้ำ สำหรับเลนเลี้ยวซ้ายนั้นเป็นเลนผ่านตลอด พอเลี้ยวซ้ายขับไปอีก 1.19 กม. จะเจอสามแยก ซึ่งถ้าเลี้ยวซ้ายจะเป็นถนนศรีนครินทร์ ให้ขับตรงไป

Exactly 1.36 kms from this intersection you will pass Big C on your right. Keep going.

เมื่อขับไปอีก 1.36 กม. หลังจากสามแยกนั้น จะผ่านห้างบิ๊กซี ทางด้านขวามือ

About 1 kms further, there is another intersection and traffic light. Go straight across again following the sign for Chon Buri. If you stay in the lefthand lane you do not need to wait for the green light.

ประมาณ 1 กม. จะเจอกับแยกไฟแดง ให้ขับตรงไปตามเส้นทางไปชลบุรี เลนซ้ายสุดเป็นเลนผ่านตลอด

As you pass this intersection, you will notice this shrine on your left. Beep your horn for good luck.

เมื่อผ่านแยกไฟแดงไป จะสังเกตเห็นศาลอยู่ทางซ้ายมือ

Exactly 470 meters after this intersection, you will spot this sign to turn-off for the Crocodile Farm on your right. Keep going.

470 เมตร จากไฟแดง ก็จะเห็นป้ายทางเข้าของฟาร์มจระเข้สมุทรปราการทางขวามือ ให้ขับตรงไปเรื่อยๆ

Exactly 2.58 kms from the Crocodile Farm turnoff, you will pass this Standing Buddha on your left. On the opposite side is the entrance to the Red Cross Society. Keep going.

2.58 กม. จากฟาร์มจระเข้ จะสังเกตเห็นพระพุทธรูปยืนทางซ้ายมือ ตรงข้ามกับสวางคนิวาศ

About 500 meters after the Standing Buddha, you will see your first sign for Ancient Siam, known as Muang Boran in Thai (formerly known as Ancient City in English). Don't turn left yet. You need to pass underneath two more pedestrian bridges.

ห่างจากพระพุทธรูปยืน 500 เมตรจะเห็นป้ายบอกทางแรกของเมืองโบราณ อย่าเพิ่งเลี้ยวตามป้าย ให้ขับตรงไป โดยต้องผ่านสะพานลอยอีก 2 สะพาน

This is your second set of signs for Ancient Siam. They haven't updated the name yet. You still have one more pedestrian bridge to pass underneath which you can see in this picture. You also drive this way for Bang Pu Seaside Resort as you can see on this sign.

อีกสักระยะจะเห็นป้ายบอกทางอันที่ 2 ให้ขับตรงไป ผ่านสะพานลอย โดยสถานตากอากาศบางปูก็อยู่บนเส้นทางนี้เช่นเดียวกัน

As you approach the first bend in the road since the turn-off for the Crocodile Farm, you will see a police box on your left and Samut Prakan Technical College on your right.

ก่อนจะถึงทางโค้งจะสังเกตเห็นป้อมตำรวจทางซ้ายมือ และฝั่งตรงข้ามคือวิทยาลัยเทคนิคสมุทรปราการ

Samut Prakan Technical College is on your right just before the pedestrian bridge and the bend in the road. Prepare to turn left.

วิทยาลัยเทคนิคสมุทรปราการอยู่ฝั่งขวามือก่อนถึงสะพานลอย เมือถึงตรงนี้เตรียมตัวที่จะเลี้ยวซ้าย

Straight after the bend in the road, you will see the main entrance to Ancient Siam on your left. Cross the bridge here. If you want to visit  Bang Pu Seaside Resort afterwards, turn left when you come out and drive for exactly 4.21 kms. You will see the entrance on your right. You need to drive past and then do a u-turn to come back.

เมื่อขับผ่านโค้งถนนจะเห็นทางเข้าสู่เมืองโบราณทางซ้ายมือ เลี้ยวซ้ายข้ามสะพานก็จะถึงที่หมาย ถ้าตรงการที่จะไปสถานตากอากาศบางปูหลังจากนั้น ให้เลี้ยวซ้ายขับตรงไปตามถนนสุขุมวิท(สายเก่า)อีก 4.21 กม. จะเห็นทางเข้าสถานตากอากาศบางปูทางขวามือ ให้ขับผ่านไปเพื่อกลับรถ
