(Above left): Sarnchaopor Lak Muang. A Chinese shrine in Tambon Paknam (Above right): Inside is the City Pillar or Lak Muang in Thai. The golden pillar, in the centre of this picture, is an important shrine for the guardian spirit of the city. The shrine was constructed in 1822.
