LESSON 1 - Draw a Map of Your City
(a) Use Satellite picture of Paknam and zoom into the area around the school. You should have Sukhumwit Road to the North. Tetsaban 12 Road and the Chinese Cemetery to the East. To the South should be Naraiprabsuk Road. To the West is the Chao Phraya River. You should place all of the following onto the map. Try to add more.

(b) When you have finished drawing the map, write the directions to ten different places starting from the school. For example:
From the school to the fire station: Outside the school, turn left and go to the end of the road. Turn left and go straight for about 200 metres. The fire station is on the right.
